Starting yesterday or a day or two earlier, gas station owners start finding that the price of having gas shipped in from California rather than Texas is that much more, especially since all the refineries are off-line more locally, making a very small amount of gas actually available for the country—a country that is already at its limit for refinery capacity when the weather is perfect.
