"Should I be worried about being a slave or a return to slavery," Goldberg asked incredulously. What a dumb comment.

The history of the Civil War would be above her pay grade.

I agree. This cretin knows NOTHING about our nation and her people.

Radical feminism teaches that motherhood makes a slave of a woman.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg said recently that abortion should be permitted, not on the basis of a privacy right, but on the basis that slavery is outlawed.
That’s the mindset : motherhood is an evil because it detracts from the natural freedom of women.

The View is the dumbest show on television, and Whoopi is the dumbest person on that damn show. And she’s not just dumb, but dumb and nasty. What an awful combination.

Breathtaking stupidity. But, we've come to expect that from leftwing nutroots.
Shame on McCain for choosing such a venue. He asked for it.

McCain should have recommended that Whoopi keep her knees together — for America’s sake.

To which McCain should have responded, “Why would you make such a blatantly racist comment as that, Whoopie?”

I know! These liberals seem to conveniently forget that it was the Democrats who were the pro-slavery party and that it was the Democrats who opposed civil rights.
And, as for abortion, the attitude of the liberals towards human life just makes me sick. They seem to have no regard for it at all. And they want to support Obama, who supported live-birth abortion......sickening!
To: BenLurkin
What a dumb comment. Its "The View" what would you expect from mind numbed idiots like Whoopi and Barbara Walters and Joy. These are people whose entire intellectual arsenal consists of ridiculing those who differ in opinion.

Given the Carnage of the Civil War.... Whoopis question is as UnAmerican as it gets!!You nailed it. Our nation did the right thing, the honorable thing, but we still get this from the left. Goldberg is completely blind to her own slavery to liberal thought that she readily embraces.
