AMEN!! We are all out working for a living. The View — never watched it, never will.

Reality is settling in. They know their beloved Barak doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance, and they’re getting their digs in early.

Thats OK, every time they do these the real citizens see the mean media for the jackasses they are and switch sides. The independent voters are swinging to our side every time the media opens their mean mouths.

Stupid move catering to the moonbats on that show. Why give them ANY credibility?
Not at all. 80% (or more) of the View's viewers are Obamatrons. If McCain can flip even a small percentage of them, it's completely worth it.
You lose nothing by going into your enemy's camp and emerging unscathed.

You’re correct. Allow me to hang my head in shame. :)

McCain shouldn’t have went anywhere near that show. You can only do harm by appearing on a show that has rabid moonbats as hosts.

He stood his ground. Shouldve never went though.
I was glad to hear that he did. Nothing will make the leftwing media's collective head explode faster than if McCain goes on their shows without an ounce of fear and gets his message out to their audience. It will turn some people who would never hear that message otherwise.

Well, I was speaking as one that had no idea there was a show called "The View". Thanks to Jim Robinson's Free Republic and posters here I am now educated about "the View" and what they stand for.
Thank you Mr. Robinson

You would think that sitting down with 3 or 4 “ladies” would mean having a little decorum and decency ... you would think wrong.

I truly know no one who watches those blathering witches. McCain should listen to Ann Coulter and not talk to liberals or at least go on serious shows not airheads.

Personally, I think that he and Cindy made the point that they have nothing to hide.
It went very well.
Part of my joy is knowing that my regular viewing/Flaming Lib/newly Lesbian sister with Munchausen Syndrome was freaking out at the sight of them.
I hope she threw up or her imagined brain tumor flaired. Maybe she’ll be blind for a while like before! I was giggling inside!

People will hear or read about it. Then they’ll check it out on the web. Then they’ll see how sane and reasonable the McCains came across in the face of brazen stupidity and rudeness. And they’ll see how the MSM descriptions don’t fit the actual footage. Why is it so hard for people here to figure out why this ends up being an advertising victory for McCain?

Joy Behar....
she makes rosie look like a a prom queen
what a witch.
i cannot watch that show because of her nasty, bitchy self.
walters hides what she is better than joy, but there is little difference.
elizabeth should jump the view and get her own show. Hey Fox News....

Sure it might. Some of them anyway.
From what I saw he came off as - Presidential.
The contrast with the shows lightweights (putting it kindly) makes it even better.
These appearances, even on hostile venues, are like free commercials.

It is hard to watch because these chicks are so uncomfortable, squirming with nervous rage. I can't believe how stupid Joy Behar is. Wow. And that they keep saying "G-d forbid if anything should happen to you," to Johnny. IT'S RUDE, YOU COWS! Disgusting. Meanwhile, Johnny held is own, of course, and looks excellent in that suit. Thank you to whoever got his jackets and shirts to fit better so you can see the cuffs.

“Cindy and John looked fine, the hosts of the view came off poorly.”
I’m sure they knew they were in hostile territory, but figured they’d be able to pick up some PUMA or indie votes from the viewing audience. And then there’s the Bradley/Wilder effect.

I see the way you are looking at it. Although, when McCain picked Palin, the base rallied and he is surging ahead of Nobama now. Seems to me that he should continue to cement the base.
