Twenty-four-year-old Javontez Lavel Ross pleaded guilty Thursday to possessing several bags of suspected heroin with intent to sell. But he asked Ramsey County District Judge Margaret Marrinan to postpone his sentencing so he could vote in the Nov. 4 election.........
The judge granted his request, calling the contest a "historic election." She set his sentencing for Nov. 12.

were I a felon, I’d take my appeal to this judge and have my lawyer argue based on her previous ruling.

Reading things like this makes me glad, I moved away from Minnesota. It's a pretty state, people are nice, but naive.
