I can tell you this: The editing was not amateur, it waa intentional. I’ve used it myself to show “before and after” contrasts in commercials.
That “jump cut” style, combined with disjointed audio/video sych, is designed to make the subject look uncomfortable and nervous. It also makes the viewer feel uncomfortable as well.
Some Liberal weenie editor (and I know many) did it intentionally, with the blessing of a Liberal weenie producer.
I’m hoping there will be more to follow on this subject. The subtle bias is the most dangerous.
I didn’t say it was unintentional.
The thing I’m surprised about is that they made it so obvious.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an interview so choppy before.
I smell something that stinks, and it’s not a fish. It’s a skunk with the initials ABC.
See, it irks me that the McCain camp wouldn’t have planned for that kind of crap (apparently). If you go into enemy territory, you don’t give them carte blanche on the arrangements. And you know they’ve probably saved the ‘best’ of their editting tricks for tonight’s portion, because last night’s portion is all anyone’s talking about and they know there will be a bigger audience tonight.
