“That being said, illegal or not, aliens present in the United States and its territories and under our jurisdiction have rights extended to them by the Constitution and our laws.”

That is the clearest most cogent statement I’ve ever seen you make. Could you please educate the other Ramos and Compean supporters who either live in a cave or have only a 5th grade education?

I've never said otherwise or implied otherwise. I've only supported the notion that Davila was shot due to his actions. Had I done what Davila did I would have been rightly shot in the ass.

Let me give you an example.

Last week I was coming on an Air Force base to go to work. Security is tight obviously so everyone is inspected entering the gate. I presented my ID to the nearest gate guard who checked it and he passed me through the gate. I sensed something unusual as I passed through since the location just ahead of my vehicle was unoccupied. I passed two other security guards at the gate as I entered the facility. To make a long story shorter after about two miles down the road into the base I was stopped by security police. At first I thought I was being pulled over for speeding, but the fact that the officers did not approach and that soon many other security vehicles arrived gave me a hint that this was no simple traffic stop. All traffic was routed around me as I was handcuffed and searched. I was accused of running the gate. After a few hours of this treatment I was released and given a warning, I guess in order for the security forces to save some face. I was notified that I could file a complaint against the security forces by the officers who apologized, they were the ones who stopped, searched, and detained me. Well what does that have to do with the border incident? I didn't get shot because I did what I was ordered to do even though I was in the right. Finally, I have no intention of complaining about the incident since the individuals involved were doing their jobs. And I would much rather have suffered the slight indignity than have terrorists running around on this base.
