Sprint through an obstacle carrying a shotgun. Wrestle with a felon for you life. Then add the shock and trauma of seeing said felon try to shoot you. Then try to defend yourself by shooting in a condition you 've never shot in before and it becomes real easy to miss. Compean's story is plausible and most likely true. The fact that he did a magazine exchange lends even more credence to the fact that he feared for his life.
“Sprint through an obstacle carrying a shotgun.”
Hmmm. When was Compean sprinting through anything with a shotgun?
“Wrestle with a felon for you life.”
A Compean lie.
“Then add the shock and trauma of seeing said felon try to shoot you.”
Another Compean lie.
“Then try to defend yourself by shooting in a condition you ‘ve never shot in before and it becomes real easy to miss.”
Baloney. Compean was a well trained LEO and sharpshooter. Ramos hit the same moving target with one shot from a much greater distance. Compean wasn’t trying to hit OAD.
“Compean’s story is plausible and most likely true.”
Compeans story is not the least bit credible and mostly covering his ass BS.
“The fact that he did a magazine exchange lends even more credence to the fact that he feared for his life.”
Yes. And never once yelled out “SHOTS” to his fellow agents to warn them of the danger, you know, the ones he testified he was sure were crossing the ditch to come to his aid. Instead he takes the time to exchange magazines and do some more Dodge City style “make ‘em dance” while the perp is aiming a gun at him and any on top of the levee who is sticking out like a cherry on top of a white cake.
Ya, Compean was in fear for his life and those of his fellow agents, one of whom now sits in prison and three others who lost their jobs and careers trying to help him.
Compean cares about no one but Compean.
