Illegal immigrants crossing the border aren't invaders. They're people committing a misdemeanor and should be treated accordingly.

If the Border Patrol adopted your proposed tactics, that would set back the cause of border enforcements for decades. The first time some peasant illegal is killed and the images are splashed all over the media, the uproar would kill any hope of actually enforcing our immigration laws.

Your proposed approach is incredibly short-sighted and would be lethal to the cause you purport to support.
