Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems to me that many of the fellows who passionately defend Ramos and Compean on this thread, are the same ones who yell loudest on other threads about police misconduct (real or alleged).

And I bet they'd strongly condemn "situational ethics" (when others do it)....

I think it’s more a function of that crowd avoiding the Ramos/Compean threads altogether. These can get rather emotional.
