The most amazing for me in Obama phenomenon is that even people who do see that its just rhetoric and no substance still want to vote for him because they want CHANGE. Obama’s personality cult deftly exploited this, but maybe, just maybe, won't be able to get away with it after all.

The ‘change’ is the same-old hard-core progressive leftism that 30% of America ardently wants, and congregates in Seattle, Berkeley and Cambridge Mass and other outposts to get it ... and 70% of America is appalled at and dislikes immensely.

So Obama could be either (a) a dishonest politician (b) an honest liberal or (c) a vague hype-artist.

He tried (c), but then is shifting increasingly into (a) now.
He skipped (b) when he lied about:
- His pro-gun-control positions in the past
- His voting against Born Alive Infant Protection act (took the pro-infanticide position)
- His tax votes (he voted for tax hikes and now is campaigning as if he wants to cut taxes)
etc.
