Michelle Obama absent from 9/11 ceremony to be home with girls for 1st week of school. But...

Conspiciously absent from September 11th memorial service, the Obama campaign claimed Michelle Obama was home with her children for the 1st week of school. However, on Sep. 10th, she spent most of the day at a "Working Mothers" roundtable in Fishers, Indiana (a 3.5 hour drive from Chicago).
FISHERS, Ind. More evidence Indiana is in play this presidential election year: the Obama campaign focused on the state again Wednesday. This time it was Michelle Obama, right in the heart of Republican territory.

I think your comparisons of Michelle vs. Sarah is way off base.
The proper comparison is Michelle vs. Cindy and Cindy, while a wonderful human being, has very little in the way of professional accomplishments.

Also Barack is mismatched for the job of president. What did he do pin the tail on the donkey career choice? He is more fitting someone that can blah, blah, blah all day. Maybe a professor? He also seems quite good at following...Poetic, Poignant, and spot on! The career path of choice for a good little socialist (found on most campuses, ACLU, law firms, etc) IS:
a student organizer, then a community organizer and then chief field organizer, union organizer, undocumented workers organizer ... At this point you are a 'made' Democrat. Able to leap tall buildings and become a tenured professor at practically any American University or 'elected' leader of any Union...law degree or journalism degree a plus! 'President' really shouldn't even have been in the cards ... perhaps he listened to the wrong Gypsy in a Block party one night after Blow.

Odd. The candidates made a pledge not to engage in traditional campaiging on 9-11. I guess that this must have fallen into a loophole.

It's advice pulled from the first season of 24. Presidential hopeful David Palmer sends his interfering wife home.
Democrats use Hollywood script writers to run government.
I saw the same exact tactic while watching a British series "House of Cards". The PM hopeful, Francis Urquhart, gives an interview to the media and has a flashback (not sure of all the details, I think its of his act of defenestration (murdering his lover who knows too much by throwing her from a building). However, during the flashback Urquhart pauses in his speech to the media. The British TV series has a newscaster comment that the PM has an “emotional” momentary pause.
Not long after that TV series, Pres. Clinton discusses his support for abortion to a media audience. During his speech he has an “emotional” pause which is later played back over real life media news.
The coincidences were too close to be mere coicidence. Perhaps the Clintons were fans of the addictive House of Cards show or one of their advisors passed on this little bit of acting skill. I guess West Wing got to predictable and boring for political advice for the Democrates. Too many Americans would have sputtered, "Hey, this ain't original TV! When I vote for a president, I want first run entertainment...not this re-run crap!"

Thanks VO-
Any idea where that source is? (I’ve googled that for months, this is the first time I’ve seen an answer)

I’m still ROFLMAO that Michelle Obama has a “Chief of Staff” - someone please explain why Michelle needs a chief of staff when her husband is *running* for office. They have stuffed Michelle in a closet and her absence EVERYWHERE is an indication of their concern about her appeal and extreme views.
She’s got the lesbian vote locked up after her dance with Ellen - Ellen’s creepy grin while she checked Michelle out was revolting.

compare? hardly, that is like comparing a L-1011 ( wide body ) to a Lear jet!!!!!

Bottom line:
Michelle Obama was not at the 9/11 ceremony because THE CAMPAIGN made the decision that she shouldn't be there.
This “she wasn't there because of the kids” business is baloney.
Her absence speaks volumes.

Someone who can get her work done deal with kids and look good doing it! How dare you imply that Michelle is not gorgeous. Haven't you seen "The View"? Didn't you know she is the "second coming of Jackie O."? Why just look at this beauty...

Hey - Ellen’s off the market!
To: cake_crumb
I’m no “defender” of Michelle - I do not like her at all. But I don’t like undue focus put on spouses or kids or brothers etc. - I like the focus to remain on the candidates.
I know, they do have something to do with it.
