I don’t think so. I think this was probably part of the McCain strategy, let the arrogant, hostile press try to best her and fail. I bet in the vetting they played Devil’s Adovocate with her to see how well she would stand up to unfriendly questioning.

I agree, but have to wonder if the Right will, at some point, give FOX a chance to do the interview with her that we all want to hear. On another hand, the Left needs to give FOX a chance to interview Biden with the same tough questions.
