John McCain just b-slapped the question about more poor or people of color joining the military and McCain threw it back saying the Colleges and Universities need to let ROTC on campuses. He kicked their butts right back and he was right!!!

I’m surprised that McCain seems to be rejecting the notion of “National Service”, and happy with his answers. He’s all for service, just not service directed by Federal Apparatchiks.
And he just got in a good zinger against Columbia when Woodruff asked him about why the US miliatary was having trouble recruiting “rich white doods”. McCain said basicially “Maybe it’s because rich white school like Columbia don’t allow ROTC on campus”. Got a round of applause from the audience!
