Filled up this afternoon for $3.44. The station was fairly busy, but not unusually so. Later, I went out to eat and there were lines at a couple of gas stations as people apparently had gotten wind of a significant price increase. Whether it’s true or not is another story. But, since I’m driving 450 miles tomorrow with a trailer, the price of gas is bound to rise significantly. It’ll drop right after I get back home.

In Boone County, WV, gas went up from $3.61 to $3.85 to $.4.05 in one night.

I went out about an hour ago and Shell was priced at $5.09 this station was very close to Knoxville. The rest of the stations will be there by late tonight or tomorrow morning. Some were still at 4.45-4.59.
