That is a trait I think of folks who know what they believe, and believe in it - regardless of how others might view it. I also think that it comes from your OWN thoughts and convictions, and not due to some “coaching by former Bush officials”.
Compared to many politicians who are more interested in not turning off any voters (”Well, a human life is blah-blah-blah-blah ad naueseum, but that is above my pay grade”).
For instance if Gibson were interviewing any of us Freepers, we could answer 80-90% of the questions the same as Gov Palin.
I am sure she is informed, as we are.
I doubt she needed much coaching...other than making sure she stated McCain's positions correctly.
