Quiet frankly I am surprised at HOW WELL INFORMED she is. Lets be honest, she has been thrust on the national stage just within the last 2 weeks.

Her knowledge is amazing if you ask me. I had never heard of the “orange or peach revolutions” or whatever she was talking about.

She has learned more about foreign affairs in 2 weeks, than Obama has in 2 years.

Don’t worry about the Russia comment. If you read the entire response, she gave the absolute correct answer. Obama only wishes he could do half as well. Heck he didn’t even know Russia had veto power on the UNSC.

WOW. She did Great!

She is going to be a political force to be reckoned with for the next 20 years.

Sarah Palin replicates what I have found on FR: an ordinary citizen that has the interest, and has taken the time, to make herself informed.

Don't forget that she was a Journalism Major with a minor in Political Science.

She is already inclined toward current events.

She went to college in Idaho, and my experience with westerners is that many of them are in the commodities and natural resources economy, and have to pay attention to world events as they affect their products.

Those ranchers and farmers are well-informed and savvy guys, and they would have been among her classmates at U of Idaho.

I have great respect for ordinary Americans who choose to inform and educate themselves. She appears to be of that mold, as are MANY of the people on this forum.
