Biden: Hillary Would Have Been A Better Choice

During the Democratic debates, Joe Biden re iterated his belief that although Barack Obama may one day be qualified to be President, he is not qualified right now. Rather than run his campaign on experience (of which he has very little), Obama has chosen to run on the symbolic words of ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’. When questioned about his experience, and what makes him qualified to be Commander in Chief, Obama will speak of his judgment, the judgment to make the right decision the first time out of the gate.

Six months ago, Joe Biden questioned Obama’s experience, and just yesterday, he questioned his judgment.

“Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America - let’s get that straight,” Biden said testily after a voter said he was “very pleased” that Democratic nominee Barack Obama had chosen him instead of Clinton.

“She is qualified to be President of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America and, quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me,” the Delaware senator added forcefully. “I mean that sincerely, she is first- rate.”

“It’s very interesting that when it comes down to Barack Obama’s biggest decision of the presidential election in choosing a vice president, the man that he selects says that he himself was the wrong choice, and that Hillary Clinton would have been a better fit,” said Ben Porritt, a spokesman for GOP veep nominee Sarah Palin.

Is it possible that Barack Obama could have chosen a worse Vice President than Biden? I am sure it was, however somehow I doubt Michael Moore would have been interested in running. In Biden’s favor, he has a lifetime of experience in Congress, however not all of that experience has been positive. Biden has been known to choose his words poorly when speaking off the cuff, and his recent admission that Hillary would have been a better choice is a prime example of that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama throws Biden under the bus and replaces him on the ticket with Caroline Kennedy.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama threw himself under the bus.

We are not dealing with mental goliaths here... ;)

My wife thinks Biden is all of a sudden going come down with a mystery illness and have to be replaced by a certain female whose initials are HRC.

Boy, Joe was the best choice... for our side. With comments like - Stand up Chuck, don’t be shy ol’ buddy.

Couldn’t write this kind of comedy.

I’m not a tin-foil type, but I remain most curious about how Biden came to be the choice. Does ANYONE think he was the best choice? Apparently he himself doesn’t, LOL. Reality is that not only was Biden not the best choice, but one of the absolute worst. While Obama runs around flapping his yapper about hope and change, he picks quite possibly the single most uninspiring man in Washington, an old-school insider who was essentially chased off the presidential stage two decades ago. It makes zero sense.

Combine the above with the murky involvement of Biden’s son in going after Larry Sinclair, the lobbying issue, etc., and the Biden pick takes on a peculiar smell to me. We don’t know the inside story here, but I bet it’s a real doozy.

The SS "Obama" has suffered fatal torpedo hits.

There's no way in Aytch-Eee Double Hockey-sticks Hillary, who's political survival and allegiance is paramount to Hillary, will jump on board a foundering vessel.

Unless she demands and gets the top slot. Otherwise she wants one last crack at it in 2012, and Obama self-destructing would suit her just fine.

I think its too late for the DNC to create a new ticket now. It would just make them look as desperate and they feel right now. They won't do it. They chose Plugs, and they're stuck with him.

I thought the same thing myself.

It’s too late though - it would look totally mercenary & contrived, bad leadership skills (changing his mind about his Veep, flip floping, etc).

Plus - PIAPS would not bail him out at this point I don’t think.
