Astrobiologist David Deamer believes that life can spontaneously emerge without design, but he thinks lay people are too uneducated to understand how this is possible

I thought abiogenesis was not part of the "evolution" theology. That's what I've been told by all the Evos on this forum. Now here is a guy that says that anyone who doesn't understand how life can form spontaneously is an idiot.

Does that mean that all the EVOS on this forum are idiots just like us creationists?

“Now here is a guy that says that anyone who doesn’t understand how life can form spontaneously is an idiot.”

Shoot, I learned about this early when I was taught how to clean up my room. It is simple. If you don’t vacuum under the bed at least once a year the furry things that accumulate there grow into monsters that grab your feet when you get out of bed in the morning. That’s why you always give a little jump rather than just haphazardly dangle your feet over the side when you get up.

Oh, goody.

Spontaneous generation.

We haven't discussed that in a long, long while.
