This is so stupid. The lawsuit should be thrown out by now. This judge is an @ss.

The appeals judges are as bad as the original idiot.

” ... dry-cleaning and legal communities.”

I guess these “communities” share a connection — both deal with suits.

This guy has already gotten his pound of flesh off the Koreans.

The family that owned the dry cleaners at the center of a $54 million pants lawsuit has closed the business, WTOP has learned.(Sept, 2007)

Everyone deserves their day in court. But at a certain point, someone should say, “You’ve had your day in court. You lost. And since you won’t give it up, I sentence you to 5 years hard labor, wearing an orange jumpsuit.”

And people wonder why the judicial system gets such low marks.

We all know the tense feelings between blacks and Asians. This former Judge and lawyer got even because he knew the law and knew he could “take them down”.

I agree totally, this is all about racial hatred and bigotry.

clown should have been disbarred for frivolous lawsuits the first time around.

this appears to be some extremely bad reporting. First, the suit didn’t force them out of business. they got their legal services pro bono. Their decision to close was independent of the lawsuit. Second, I don’t know about D.C., but everywhere I do know about a first appeal is a matter of right. which means the court of appeals doesn’t “agree” to hear it, they have no choice. to go beyond the first level the court has to agree to hear it.

The judge should be disbarred, immediately. I’d also investigate a RICO claim against him.

That’s usually correct. Folks just need to look at this ridiculous lawsuit by a judge and realize many many judges are arrogant horse’s rear ends.

I have been privileged to know a few truly wonderful judges, but I am aware of so many others who abuse their positions and are about as shallow and arrogant as you get. Also political. Picture all the stupid arrogant lawyers you know and then realize that’s the gene pool.
