There is only one outcome possible this election. McCain or Obama.

Obama is beyond unacceptable.

So is McCain.

McCain selected Palin and has reiterated his stand against Roe. I'm voting FOR McCain in large part because of Palin.

Palin doesn't change anything. McCain is still the presidential candidate, and it is the Soros funded McCain machinery which will set the tone if McCain is elected.

Palin increases my belief that McCain will make excellent appointments.

A belief based on airy promises more than on factual record.

What will y'all say if his SCOTUS overturns Roe and much of the other garbage from the past decades?

What will you do when he doesn't?

It's at least a 50 50 possibility.

Based on what? Promises? His sudden "conversion" in 2006 (much like Romney)?

It is much more likely that he will do something more in line with what his "good friends" Clinton, Kennedy, Feingold, and Lieberman would have him do; not to mention his financiers George Soros and Ketchup Kerry...

All you two are doing is bitching, which got old a long time ago.

All you are doing is surrendering. I am doing plenty. The only difference is that I am supporting actual Conservatives, not a socialist traitor.

As for my bitching, it will continue as long as a Reagan Conservative can stand on FreeRepublic and speak the truth. Especially where it concerns McCain and any smarmy bullcrap that he is a pro-life/ pro-Christian pick, or a libertarian pick, or a pro-security/ anti-amnesty pick, all of which are outright lies, so blatant and misleading, that I refuse to stand quietly by and let the TRUTH be trampled underfoot.

You may get as googley-eyed as you please over Palin if you wish, and I will let it slide, but I will fight tooth-and-nail against any attempt to make John "the Traitorous Bastard" McCain out to be some white knight of the Pro-Life movement, which HE MOST DEFINITELY *IS NOT*. *Ptooey*

I am reassembling all my McCain/Abortion stuff and my McCain/Christian stuff as of tomorrow and will respond accordingly to any thread thus posted, beginning with what I do know I have here on this machine for any reader who may be uninformed.

But first we must defeat Nobama and get McCain Palin in office. Yes we MUST.

No, we must *NOT*.

I promise not to post to either of you two if you don't post to me.

Whatever turns your crank. I will, however, post the TRUTH about McCain to ANY McCain/Pro-Life thread, and reserve the right to debate anyone on he matter, and will.

McCain on abortion:

McCain was asked whether he would reinstate the Reagan era rule that prevents international family planning clinics that receive federal funds from discussing abortion. “I don’t believe they should advocate abortion with my tax dollars,” McCain said, adding that he opposed abortion except in cases of rape and incest. He was then asked how he would determine whether someone had in fact been raped. McCain responded, “I think that I would give the benefit of the doubt to the person who alleges that.” Source: New York Times, p. A17 Jan 25, 2000

McCain said he thought Roe v. Wade should be overturned and said he would support exceptions to a ban on abortion in cases of rape, incest, and when the mother’s life is in danger. Source: Boston Globe, p. A11 Jan 22, 2000

McCain said, “I’d love to see a point where Roe vs. Wade is irrelevant, and could be repealed because abortion is no longer necessary. But certainly in the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade, which would then force women in America to [undergo] illegal and dangerous operations.” A spokesman said that McCain “has a 17-year voting record of supporting efforts to overturn Roe vs. Wade. He does that currently, and will continue to do that as president.” Source: Ron Fournier, Associated Press Aug 24, 1999

Ontheissues.org: McCain on Abortion

NRLC Executive Director David N. O'Steen, Ph.D., commented, "In contending that legal abortion is 'necessary' and that Roe v. Wade should not be overturned because it would 'force' women to undergo dangerous illegal abortions, McCain parroted arguments of the pro-abortion movement. A candidate who argues that legal abortion is 'necessary' is not a pro-life candidate."

MCCAIN: I don’t think a constitutional amendment is probably going to take place, but I do believe that it’s very likely or possible that the Supreme Court should — could overturn Roe v. Wade, which would then return these decisions to the states, which I support.

STEPHANOPOULOS: And you’d be for that?

MCCAIN: Yes, because I’m a federalist. Just as I believe that the issue of gay marriage should be decided by the states, so do I believe that we would be better off by having Roe v. Wade return to the states. And I don’t believe the Supreme Court should be legislating in the way that they did on Roe v. Wade.

McCain Unequivocally Supports Federalist Solution to Abortion

The National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) regards McCain-Feingold as a major hindrance to its mission of pro-life advocacy--and, pari passu, McCain himself as something close to a personal enemy.

Have you seen Jim Robinson’s recent post declaring his support for McCain/Palin?
