Alexandria The Jim Gilmore for Senate campaign said today Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Mark Warner is engaging in old school politics as usual in his contorted attempts to keep Virginia voters from learning that he supports efforts to undermine Virginias Right to Work law.
The only thing the voters of Virginia have learned they can count on with Mark Warner is that where he stands today, or where he stood yesterday, has nothing to do with where he will stand tomorrow, Ana Gamonal, Gilmore Communications Director said today. Working families can contrast that with Jim Gilmore who will never sacrifice his steadfast support for Virginias historic Right to Work Law to get the endorsement of pro-labor unions.
The fact is that as recent as this past Fourth of July, when speaking at a closed union meeting in Annandale, VA of the AFL-CIOs Central Labor Council, Mark Warner privately pledged to help the AFL-CIO gain passage of the union card legislation, and promised his all out support for big labor and their plans to target Virginia workers with intimidation and harassment, Gamonal said.
Gamonal said Mark Warners repeated failure to respond to questions regarding Warners position on right to work issues in the Commonwealth of Virginia is just another example of the old style politics as usual where Mark Warner says one thing one place and something else somewhere else in an attempt to deceive the voters.
