Today, Perez Hilton, a celebrity gossip blogger, who has lately decided to finally take journalism seriously and post completely objective articles about politics (as can be seen by the above picture), posted Obama's infamous "pig" quote as his website's "QUOTE OF THE DAY". This comes as no surprise when considering the fact that 99% of Hollywood consider themselves not only experts on politics but also the forefront crusaders in their "global cause" to elect Obama president. Excuse me while I puke.
However; It surprised me to read the comments on the article, considering the fact that I assumed many of the readers of Perez's blog are primarily Young Adults brainwashed by Hollywood. Well, apparently they're not as brainwashed as I suspected.
Here are some quotes:
"Hmmm, well, you can wrap a Muslim in a Bible but he's still a Muslim. You can wrap a campaign with magical words like hope and change, but it still makes you a marxist. You can deny your heritage and embrace blackness, but you're still half white. You can put an American flag on your lapel, but you're still a die hard America hater. You can read all the pretty words from a teleprompter, but without it, your a stammering fool that makes Forest Gump look like a motivational speaker. Shall I go on? "
"Has anyone heard his speeches lately??? Not sounding very presidential. He's diggin' a hole…………………lets push him in."
It goes on and on.
As for the comments defending Obama, they are few and far between and are very similiar to these quotes:
"EVERYONE KNOWS HE WASN'T CALLING HER A PIG. THEY ARE JUST USING IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING ELSE BAD TO SAY ABOUT HIM. HE IS A GENTLEMAN AND WOULD NEVER DO THAT. AND YOU ALL KNOW IT. "
"OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This may not be as exciting for all of you, but as a 19 year old, who is surrounded by peers who have been brainwashed by slogans and empty promises, it's very refreshing to know that maybe I'm not alone after all.

Welcome to FR. I hope you find your journey here to be of value. And don't fall for the idea that the youth, women, Blacks, Hispanics, et al of America are simply big voting blocks. It's not true. It never has been true. It never will be true. What good people of the conservative persuasion do, which guides us daily, is vote with our minds and our conscience; not with our feelings. And conservativism runs within every block I've mentioned.
