Behold the Kossification of the House floor:
Transcript:
Dem. Rep. Steve Cohen (TN) - I submit to you, Mr. Speaker, that the parties have differences. But if you want change, you want the Democratic Party. Barack Obama was a community organizer like Jesus, who our minister prayed about. Pontius Pilate was a governor. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

Yep. Been to it, been to Rendezvous Ribs, Sun Records, the Peabody, Beale Street and a very good brewpub in Germantown. Good town with a lot of history under very very bad management.
The jobsites I had (haz waste) were down by the airport both times. Nice area.

If this guy was in any other district in the country outside of San Francisco, Chicago or New York..he’d be TOAST for saying something like this.
He’d do well to remember the 2nd Commandment...
Who wants to bet the Obama campaign is calling this guys office telling him to SHUT UP! LOL

Wow....I just looked at more videos...and it's not even close.
BHO is a flat out liar. A flat out racist...and a flat out marxist/socialist.
Not that I needed any more evidence.....but I hadn't seen that evidence.
The GOP need to highlight BHO's OWN words in his books....!! Over and over again.

Is this guy a Christian?
Lobbying for a sound bite?
Campaign position?
15 minutes of fame?
To: Free ThinkerNY
No offense intended, but a point of information is needed.
Is Rep. Steve Cohen a Christian? What does he know about the real Jesus? The name does not sound like a Christian name, so if he is not a Christian, he should not be telling us what Jesus stands for,

So one can only wonder whose followers and supporters are confused the most, but then instead of throwing the money changers out of the temple, Messiah Obama has been getting his house paid for by them, and also supporting his Mary Magdalene (aka Michelle)with taxpayer earmark dollars.
Who is trying for sainthood or above??

Biden is stupid enough to use this Jesus nobama comparison.
Hopefully he'll try it in the debate. If so, we might see your line crammed down his throat by Palin who does know Jesus.
To: Spok
Actually, Muhammud did more organizing than Jesus did. I wonder why they dont make that comparison??That's what I was thinking.

Steve Cohen is a white Jewish congressman in an almost totally black district. He's a panderer!I don't have any problem with his district. I just don't believe he should be saying anything about Jesus this or that as the discussion is incredibly problematic for himself and all Jews, just as if I tried to draw some analogy to Mohammad for Muslim's to appreciate. I am deeply ignorant of their beliefs and the only thing I could possibly do is likely offend. If I don't mind offending, then it isn't a problem, but I can't imagine Rep. Steve Cohen planning to stand up and offend America's Christians by making such an ignorant insensitive statement.

Very, very dumb statement from a guy from Tennessee. Even if his district is extremely liberal the rest of the state is in the Bible Belt. The some of it very proudly red neck Bible Belt. Some of it proudly hillbilly Bible Belt.
One wonders if he even understands where he lives? Just Brilliant.
