Everytime I’ve tried to color my hair at home, it’s come out feeling like straw....what am I doing wrong?!?!?

Did you use L’Oreal Excellence Creme? Like the other ladies on the thread who’ve mentioned it, I have great success with it. Let’s see...are you using other treatments on your hair that may be weakening it?

Well...the L'Oreal Excellence comes with an end protecting conditioner (doesn't allow the color to process anyplace its applied)...and a post color deep conditioner. One of the problems can always be recoloring (reprocessing) already colored hair (your ends). So just doing a 'root application' is best for new growth :) Aren't you glad you asked?
