They were a bit whinny. Democrats are the whiner party. Republicans are tough.
That said, keeping it alive in the news cycle is funny.
A tougher, and more substantive, response would be in order, not the “shocked.”
How about:
“For someone who allegedly supports women’s rights, Obama sure does have sexist knee-jerk tendancies. Not a good sign of what is really behind what is behind the celebrity facade of styrofoam columns.”
I think they should have had footage of the ‘68 DNC riots, with kids attacking police, with the voiceover saying:
“What is it with these people, always calling other ‘pigs’?”
