Idiot. Anyone who’s already had four babies knows that just because your water breaks, it doesn’t mean you have to rush to a hospital.
Yes he is an idiot. Here is something the KOS ilk have put together. Be warned it is disgusting.
Her water didn’t break. It was just leaking. Most women leak a little amniotic fluid a few days before going into labor. I did with all four of my kids. If the water actually breaks with a big gush of water, then its time to get to the hospital.
My water broke (1st baby) at a restaurant. Gushed and gushed in the parking lot. When we got home, my husband kindly poured it out of my shoes on our doorstep. I of course called my OB practice first thing. This is Fairfax County, VA, a well-respected hospital and practice. I was told to cool it at home until I had contractions. About eight hours later, I was ready to go to the hospital, and had the baby 10 hours later.
Leaking? No big deal.
Actually, I do think it was kind of stupid advice from a midwife I never liked again after the birth. With the next baby the doctor told me about the danger of cord prolapse, but perhaps that was because of that particular baby’s position, etc.
Really, as a woman who’s actaully done this, I have strong emotions about this guy who’s trying to pass judgement on someone else’s body and how it works. (i.e., if he were near me I’d be tempted to smack him).
Idiot.
I believe I heard somewhere that Marcos was a special needs child. Just kidding, but it could have happened.

Sure you do. Anyone who's had three babies knows that. Sometime in the next 24 hours, to avoid possible infection.
As a number of OB nurses and such have posted here on FR and any number of other places.
“Idiot.” Dead on the mark!
Ok, anyone who's wife has had three babies knows that. Does the Kos kid have a wife? I'm trying to be charitable here, so maybe he just hasn't had time to learn something most of the rest of the world knows.
