I wear Lowa's (made in eastern Europe - Slovakia):

I had worn mostly Florsheim and E T Wright dress shoes since I was a teenager, since that was all I could find to fit my size 15's (a size bigger than Phelps ;). But these Lowa's are the best shoe I've found, if you don't mind the non-dressy outdoor boot styles. They have up (US) size 16 in a few styles.
