Would anyone know how someone with the violent criminal background of Ayers came to be powerful enough to control the Woods Foundation and the Annenberg Challenge? Did the heirs to Woods and/or Annenberg express any opposition Ayers’ effective control over their family foundations? I would think that the original Woods and Annenberg who bequeathed the funds to found these foundations would be rolling over in their graves if they knew who was running the foundations named for them.
