I’m sure that Obama was referring to the McCain/Palin policies rather than the individuals. However, he said what he said, and I am more than willing to hoist him on his own petard and use it against him in any way possible.

They knew exactly what he was really saying. There is such a thing as a double meaning and this is a classic example. He can play dumb, but he's lying. Plain and simple.
