Obama is clearly not comfortable going negative, he got to where he is by giving uplifting speeches. He is definately out of his element now.

Obama realizes now that he is not ready, I think he always knew, but he heard too many people telling him he could win. He needs more experience, especially some executive experience, as say, Governor of Illinois, before he is ready for running for President.

He can belittle Palin’s experience all he wants, but it is clear that being the chief executive of a state has her better prepared for this stage of the campaign.

Todd Palin should challenge him to a dual for insulting his wife's honor.
