In 2004 the world wanted John Kerry as US President, whereas Poland was the only country of the western world that clearly voted for G.Bush.

I just can’t believe my compatriots would vote for Osbama in this elections. That’s more than ridiculous. Beyong comprehension!

Now, hold on a minute, folks!

Before you go dissing foreigners' opinions of our candidates, don't forget we owe them a debt of gratitude for helping us out in '04! Don't forget that just 4 years ago, thousands of Brit readers of The Guardian gave a big boost to GWB's electorally-crucial victory in Ohio.

Don't tell me I'm the only Freeper around who still remembers this FR posting:

Guardian Calls It Quits In Clark County Fiasco (Brit Newspaper Tries To Influence US Election)

But the funniest link of all is this one to The Guardian itself where they published a sampling of responses they got to their ill-fated campaign to help Kerry beat Bush:

Dear Limey A**holes

They can have him now, as long as they promise to not bring him back.

Two great reasons to vote against Obama:

1. The World wants him to win.
2. Headline #1 above, was reported by the BBC (Broadcasting British Communists).

Senator Obama ranged from 9 per cent in India

Looks like Plugs' convenience store comment was a big hit.

Italy, Spain, and Germany embraced Fascism in the 20th Century. Other European nations embraced Communism. Today some of these same nations embrace generic “socialism”. I don’t care what they think is “right” for America.

Europeans’ politics are often wrong.

Just remember that online polls have no “residency” requirement. And there are trolls around the world who seek to influence popular opinion by DUping the public on online polls.

And that’s one to grow on...

"..Other European nations embraced Communism....

Do tell.

Name one european nation that embraced communism other than by force of arms.

Hmmm...I think there was a thread from the BBC with essentially the
same headline.
That appeared today as well.

Surely it can't be due to a Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy (of Global Proportions)?

Golly, looks like my memory ain’t so bad after all (post 74)!

And I pray that Obama continues to be “big news” everywhere but in
the USA.
And that his “electoral Mojo” shrivels to a very flaccid condition.
Where and when it matters: in the electoral booth on Tues. Nov. 4
in the United States of America.

not the “ABC” of the USA)

"And yet, someone whom I know very well who runs meetings in Latin America for an important international organization laughs to me and says they have people from many of these countries at these meetings, and they say ( better than 90%) “How can you Americans vote for this idiot Obama?)."

The same here. If you ask someone on the street here who he thinks should win he will say the "black guy" or if you are asking Muslims then they will 100% say Barack Obama.

On the otherhand, the educated people over here (non Muslim) seem to all think Obama is nothing more than an empty suit and are dumbfounded at how Americans support the guy.

What has hurt America in the eyes of many educated foreigners is that Obama is even being considered, it makes us look like idiots.
