"When she (Palin) retaliated (justifiably) by mocking his stint as a organizer, the Obama camp was clearly rattled. Obama himself actually began arguing about the importance of community organizing. His supporters amplified this cry - claiming Palin's attack was a racist slur and passing around e-mails titled "Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor." The entire article is a must read.....she really nails it.
Alaska? they sneered. It has the population of Las Vegas! Funny how the coastal elite only sneers at red states with small populations. Howard Dean hailed from a blue state with almost the same population as Alaska and was a national phenomenon and front-runner for the presidency. Joe Biden’s Delaware has a similarly small population - but no mocking was forthcoming there.

They DO hold us in contempt! As they see it, how dare we - small town Americans, challenge them, our big city betters. As far as they are concerned, Sarah Palin got "too uppity" and it was time to put her back in her place. We'll never vote for them so they took it as license to abuse us, trash our values and make fun of a candidate whose background is from our world. No - they don't understand Red America!

Most Americans think that the media are cheerleading for Obama, so they'll punish him for the reporters' and editors' sins.
Live by the media, die by the media.

"Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor." An innacurate representation. The only thing Jesus organized was his campaign to save souls and institute a church which was of an entirely different sort. The closest he came to organizing a "community" I can think of is when he ordered his disciples to have the people orderly seated in companies of 10 when he performed the miracle of the loaves and fishes. He was for the most part, apolitical, except when he called Pilate? a sly old fox.
Pilate, another innacurate representation. Pilate may have been a governor, but he was appointed. He never won that position in a democratic (now some would say that I am saying that the Democrats ran the process, no I meant the other definition of democratic) election. Big difference.

Yep, the second McCain chose his VP, the Messiah,
himself began referring to her as a "former mayor" when she is in fact THE MOST POPULAR sitting governor. Heh...yep, took the bait, hook, line, and sinker! Then continued to diminish himself, demonizing McCain's VP pick at every turn. Yep, the Messiah openned the door all the way for Gov. Palin to help him remember who has the most experience! Priceless.

I’ve seen Kirsten discussing the lib attacks on FOX. She is clearly disgusted.

My favorite line in the article:
Meanwhile, the rest of the country was probably wondering what being a community organizer has to do with being president.
Bingo! There's nothing wrong with being a community organizer. But when the swing/undecided voter looks at what Obama did as one, I don't think they'll look too favorably at him.

Translation: Obama is more and more looking like the mouthpiece for the angry left and less and less like a serious Presidential candidate.

You could define a “community organizer” as the person who led the Jews into the railroad cars.........

Has anyone else noticed that whenever you hear Obama, he is whining? Republicans are attacking me, voters are bitter, economy is no good, war going poorly ...
Americans don't like whiners. They like Reagan-style optimism.
The Palin reaction is symptomatic of Obama's endemic Marxist negativism. He and his wife actually believed their leftist professors, and are trying for a "revolution" for evil America. I don't think voters will buy it.
To: bobsunshine
Hmm. Obama also dismissed Iran’s potential influence/threat based on its size.
I see a pattern here, and it’s not the way a serious adult thinks.

Obama’s attempt to compare himself to the Lord Jesus Christ is so far beyond ridiculous . . .
He is a lightweight, weakling, empty suit socialist who dares to compare himself with the King of kings and Lord of lords.
To: bobsunshine
Maybe he needs an Obama/Biden bumpersticker put on his mirror so that he is reminded daily he is running at the TOP of the ticket against McCain.
