I’m sure they will pick it up anyway. The earmark thing is going to gain traction with the bridge deal. This should be the diversion from that.
What's so funny about the bridge deal is that Obama and Biden voted TWICE against an amendment to send the money to cover some costs after Katrina so as to reserve their right to make earmarks.
Can these people be any stupider? Then again it is an arrogance born of Democrats having become accustomed and then presumptive that the press would use kid gloves. Now the old school Democrat press is forced to confront certain issues because of the conservative blogosphere/new media. A slow but deserving death.
