Obama folks shop at Ikea

That is without a doubt true. That place is a cult. It is down in town and going there is like going to the nearby food coop.

I like Ikea AND Bed, Bath and Beyond. I’m afraid of what that means.

Hmmmm - in my most learned observation it means you swing both ways. . . (ducks and runs). =)

This may explain why so many of the men I’ve met through Match.com have either been emotionally ill, have wanted me to support them, or have been screaming, limp-wristed, BDS-afflicted metrosexual liberals. And they have been uniformly horrified that I own guns, power tools, and hunting dogs.

LOL! That could take awhile. I’ve tried to put things from IKEA together and their directions are impossible. Of course that could be operater error but still...

Like my daughter I guess, which is why we were there.

As a friend said, “decent crappy furniture.”

The whole experience is lingonberry la la though.

Obama folks shop at Ikea.

No big shock there, he embodies Ikea. The wood is veneer. You (or the MSM) have to construct it yourself, usually with missing hardware. The instructions are muddled. Once you have it together, you find out how vastly inferior it is to a quality product.

You know, there are laws against slander and libel in this country, bub. First, I'm suing for suggesting that I support Obama. Then, I'm bringing a class action lawsuit on behalf of all McCain voters. Why didn't they just call 'em baby-rapers, or father-stabbers -- that's a lot more palatable than 'Yankees fans.'

That's not to say that I haven't met some nice men. I meant that there has been a disproportionate number of people with some kind of emotional problem. In my view there is a strong positive correlation between extreme liberalism and emotional problems of various types.

The only things I’ve ever bought from Ikea are tables. I moved in April and needed end tables, coffee table, and a tv stand. The tables were easy (really all you had to do was put on the legs), but I had to use my own tools. The little wrench that came with them was useless. But the tv stand was a little trickier. It had dowels (sp?), weird screws, and all kinds of crazy junk. It wasn’t too bad, except for one area that I don’t think was drilled properly from the factory.

I don’t know that I would buy anything bigger then a kitchen table from Ikea though. I needed a bedroom set, too, and I bought that all from a regular furniture store.

If I had to pick, I like Bed, Bath and Beyond better. My friend calls it, “Women’s Best Buy.” LOL
