McCain-Palin 523s
Vanity | Sept. 9, 2008 | Vanity

Posted on 09/09/2008 3:20:19 AM PDT by Tom D.

The window to give money to John McCain directly is closed. Can anyone here provide us with some pro-McCain-Palin 523 orgs where we can send money?

Thanks.

Karl Rove was suggesting one earlier this week... let me see if I can find it.

I’m not historically a Rove fan but these sleazy attacks on Palin’s family have really pissed me off.

I wonder if the irony of this is lost on McCain himself?

Media defending itself for it’s ugly attacks by saying it’s all Sarah’s fault for not putting herself before their royal highness’s from Day One.

The media can never walk itself back from demanding a DNA test to prove Trig is really her baby.

It’s OVER in the minds of all honorable Americans.

The sad part is that’s not that much of an exaggeration.

I had seen the compliance fund, but I was hoping for a more adventurous bunch. If there is a crowd who is ready to hang ACORN around Obama’s neck where it belongs I would like to send them some money.

Here’s an example of why I cannot support the Swiftboaters

>>Sen. John McCain commands support at many VFW halls across the country. But a squadron of Vietnam vets and POW/MIA advocates is strafing him with decidedly unfriendly fire.

Two-tour Green Beret Ted Sampley, who helped “Swift Boat” Democrat John Kerry in the 2004 presidential race, is now gunning for the GOP White House hopeful.

The organizer of Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain claims the Purple Heart-winning former POW has “never admitted the full extent to which he cooperated with his captors.” Sampley also charges that, in the 1990s, the “unstable” McCain, whom he calls “the Manchurian Candidate,” ignored “credible evidence” that American POWs were still alive in Southeast Asia.<<

The examples you cite are not from Swiftboaters.

I think the groups are called 527s; not 523s

Fred Thompson just opened a place to help elect Conservative Republicans to office: info@fredpac.com is the site. I’d give to this.

This is a much-needed PAC, aas we not only want to deliver McCain/Palin to the Pres./VP, but also some very like-minded people to Congress.

Unfortunately, McCain made this bed, and now he has to sleep in it.

Who really cares? I suggest anyone who does spends 6 years in isolation locked up in a small box being periodically beaten and tortured, and not given any medical treatment for multiple serious life-threatening injuries. Once they do that, then get back to us.

Send it to the Republican National Committee or Freedom’s Watch (www.freedomswatch.org). Both are in Washington, D. C. - Disclosure - my son works for Freedom’s Watch.

That was a particularly slimey attack on McCain - thus those are not the people I’m giving money too now that they are attacking Obama.
