I think it has to do with McCain's son resigning from the Board last week of a bank the FDIC is about to seize, where he was Chmn. of the Audit Committee.

Recalls the Keating Five - supposedly to be reported by Huffington Post

That would make sense, but, they must be really freaking out to think that story will destroy Mccain.

That is it? These folks need to get a life, Biden’s son is one step ahead of an indictment and a lawsuit for running a dirty hedge fund, a resignation is small potatoes.

AZ central reported the bank closing and of course mentioned the connection. But did they report on biden’s son? (Rhetorical)

The az republic is in the tank for obama and janet nap.

Well, this is certainly no worse than Biden’s family crew.

Yes, I've heard about that, too. If it's the Silver State Bank thing, I think that happened farther back than a week ago.
If this is what they're talking about, McCain did the right thing by resigning. The bank was tanking.
From an old friend's liberal MySpace blog:

The fallout from the Silver State Bank fiasco continued on Friday as the company announced a wider-than-expected quarterly loss and CEO Corey Johnson resigned. Johnson's resignation follows the resignation of Board of Directors' member Andrew McCain, who was on the bank's Auditing Committee. McCain is the son of presumptive Republican presidential candidate John McCain. McCain and Johnson's departures came on the heels of resignation of one of the bank's executive vice-presidents, who left just two months ago.
