First off I do not see FL, OH, VA, and NV as any GREAT challenge. Clearly we need to start ads in FL but that’s neither here nor there. IF IF IF, IF Obama does this. When does it become if he DOESN’T. Let’s be honest if HE doesn’t he IS toast.

Yes, but I frame my argument in terms of what McCain needs to do because I don’t want to be accused of offering advice to Obama. You may have noticed that some people around here are a little touchy and quick to impugn peoples’ motives.
Kerry won 251 electoral votes. Obama needs to hold all those, with MI being the most likely to turn red. If it does, I don’t really see him having a path to win. If he holds MI, he has many paths to win. As of pre-convention polling, Obama had two non-Kerry states, NM and IA. With those plus the Kerry states, he wins with 269 electoral votes, since ties are decided by the House, with each delegation getting one vote.
