I pointed out the flaw in the question.
No you did not. And now you want to argue the point because still do not have a viable response to the original question.
That is a ploy that is typical in discussions when one does not have a valid response to the original question.
You are trying to re-define the original question (to your liking), because you cannot answer it.
So, let me simplify the original question, since the original was apparently too tough: What reforms have McCain made TO Washington?

No you did not. I certainly did.
In November, the Supreme Court will be placed in the hands of John McCain or Barack Obama. How will you vote?

I wish they would lump the parties together, and not just mention Republicans. I think it's fine to mention that you're willing to stand up to the other party. It's great to have a record to prove it. But I think they leave the impression that only the GOP has problems. I wish they would say they stand up to DEMOCRATS and Republicans. Show a little of each. PLEASE!?

I think one must remember there is more to the Republican Party than the presidency and vice-presidency. We have a congress to elect this year. McCain needs to help polish the party not diminish it. Republicans lost control of both houses due to corruption, inaction and acting like Democrats. There ain't a whole lot to polish.

One has to assume that many folks, unlike us, are unaware of the word and how it translates into deeds. There are a lot of sleepers out there.

McCain will “help polish the party” but right now he’s kinda busy running for President. First things first.

We’re re-inventing the brand, not diminishing it.

Running against their own party. This ad shows how far the GOP brand has fallen.FWIW the establishment Republicans hated Reagan too.

The UnAmerican Democrat Party have betrayed their country, aided and abet our enemies in two war theaters for the last 8 years!!!! They are corrupt communists, who do not believe in capitalism, they want to take over out health care, and on and on.
And McCain “takes on the GOP”????????????????????
Sickening.

I am so tired of this maverick word.It really could be worse, how about "change?"
I can't even say the word any more - it's out of my vocabulary. It's now on to 'modify, evolve, transform, adjust, etc.' whenever possible, lol.

It’s because they are running against what the Republican party has become that draws me to them the most.
I am a conservative, not a republican and the party has turned into big government wasteful spending typical Washington pols in my opinion.
I quite donating to the RNC years ago, but will send some money to help this ticket.
