I wish they would lump the parties together, and not just mention Republicans. I think it's fine to mention that you're willing to stand up to the other party. It's great to have a record to prove it. But I think they leave the impression that only the GOP has problems. I wish they would say they stand up to DEMOCRATS and Republicans. Show a little of each. I think one must remember there is more to the Republican Party than the presidency and vice-presidency. We have a congress to elect this year. McCain needs to help polish the party not diminish it.

Republicans lost control of both houses due to corruption, inaction and acting like Democrats. There ain't a whole lot to polish.

I am a conservative, not a republican and the party has turned into big government wasteful spending typical Washington pols in my opinion.
