It would be sad if the conservative movement sold its principles and gave up its soul to win an election. Winning an election is nice as long as we do not forget the principles in sight of us. Without them, a victory in November would be an empty victory. No seat we would gain in the councils of power would be worth it if we paid that price.

But, that is precisely what is happening. Just as it did with Bush, Conservatives remain divided, and therefore, conquered. Until we will protect all three pillars of Conservatism, there will continue to be *no* Conservatism. It is the heart and power of Reagan Conservatism, and those that settle for less always get nothing.
