(SARAH PALIN for VP ---- McCain is just the "baggage" that comes with that VOTE !!)
To: Jim Robinson
No one is perfect. But people love her because she lives her faith not merely talks about it. And those who do not understand Sarah will never truly understand what faith and the love of God and the love of family is all about.

“Palin Helps McCain With Religious Right”
I count myself amongst the religious right and there was no way on Gods’ green earth that RINO fossil was going to get my vote.
Then he picked Sara and all that changed.

Sarah Palin does not believe in embryonic stem cell research or assisted suicide (from the Alaska governor debate)

She's the perfect social conservative from Central Casting. Her views don't rub people the wrong way because she's so modest and unassuming.

I agree.. we do need to keep the pressure on McCain and make sure he knows that MOST of us voted for Palin --- not for him !!

Considering the points that Hunter made during the primary debates, Id think a Hunter-Palin ticket would be as close as Id ever get to a DREAM TICKET.
I know why Hunter was exluded from the convention as do those who had their signs removed...

Ive went round and round with Thompson supporters enough to know were all hoping that Palin can keep McCain in check, but must prepare for the worst when it comes to our borders and national sovereignty. We’ve certainly got a fight on our hands with that issue.

You make a good point. Its true McCain is not near and dear to conservatives, especially social conservatives. But that he named one on his ticket still matters to the base. If he hadn't, he wouldn't be looking at a possible victory in November. And if he does win - he will owe conservatives a lot.

I don’t think that McCain will move forward on the embryonic stem cell research. There would be too much shrieking from the Catholic and conservative folks.

I never thought I would vote for McCain, either. The more negative stuff the MSM spews about Palin, the more I like her . . . and McCain.

Or abortion under any circumstances and she wants the Bible’s word taught in school. She is perfect.

Politicians’ positions vis a vis the destruction of human embryos is one of the key tests of whether or not they are actually pro-life, or simply deceivers and liars.

Many FReepers predicted a united coalition against Obama, if McCain made a solid conservative choice for his running mate. Sarah Palin is a solid conservative.
A smart decision by McCain and one that is making Evangelicals jump for joy.

Nothing's changed. McCain is still McCain, and he'll still be a disaster for this country. Exactly so. One cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
What Sarah Palin didn't say
An excellent article- One I would recommend to all good Conservatives... Who knows, a few might remember what the word really means.
