Oh, I don’t think the Bradley effect is going to be that big. I read somewhere that it is declining with time (in other words, it was more of a factor in the 80s and 90s).

You are absolutely right about not counting on the Bradley effect. It may or may not happen, and it’s kind of an odd thing to root for anyway. Factoring it into our calculations breeds complacency. In fact, I don’t think it should be mentioned at all, unless Obama somehow builds a double-digit lead and we’re grasping at any possible straw of hope to hang on to.

Hear, hear. I have been saying for a long time that we cannot count on it, because any such effect is likely to be outweighed by the very good job the Dems have done registering and inspiring their voters this year.
