Good rebuttal. The problem, though, is the Democrats are using the statistic to tie McCain to Bush. They really don’t care how he voted on anything. The Democrats plan is to link McCain to Bush and stoke the fires of Bush hatred they have worked so hard to invent.

Moreover, the vast majority of the voted with Bush votes have been on things that were not important but the daily BS the Senate votes on to make themselves feel important.

Still, at least now we have a rebuttal without having to explain it all.

This should be useful not to tie Obama with Reid (nobody knows him), but to show that Obama has almost never deviated from his party's line. McCain's 90% was only the past year, when the Congress was already in Dim's hands. Before, he often bucked the Republicans (to our disappointment), but shows his maverick status.

Obama runs as a 'new kind of politican' who supposedly goes beyond racial, party, and ideology. The votes figure shows that he's basically an ordinary politican. What's extraordinary about him is changes his positions so fast and often.
