And every once in awhile, an Obama critic will find a way to inject race into the dialogue, under the guise of doing no such thing. Consider the semi-coherent wordplay of Georgia Republican congressman Lynn Westmoreland, who said last Thursday that Barack and Michelle are “a member of an elitist class individual that thinks that they’re uppity.” Given the fact that “uppity” has been recognized for generations as a racially-loaded perjorative, a reporter asked Westmoreland whether he really intended to use that word. The congressman’s reply: “Uppity, yeah.” Hours later, Westmoreland insisted that he didn’t think the word was racially loaded - thereby becoming perhaps the first segregationist-era southerner (he was raised near Atlanta during the ‘50s) ever to attempt such a ludicrous claim.

Without a doubt, racism is a big factor in this election, and might even affect its outcome.
I’m talking about BLACK racism: the undisputed fact that a huge number of blacks are voting for O-boy ONLY because of the color of his skin.
On the other hand, conservatives have already proven that we’re neither racist nor sexist. Look at the blinding speed with which we went in the tank for a female candidate.
It would have been exactly the same for a black candidate*, a Hispanic candidate, or a blue Martian candidate with pink polka-dots.

Ridiculous. The only reason that this anti-American communist is even in contention is that he IS black. It’s called “white guilt” and this is the motivation of most liberals and even some naive conservatives.
So, if 98% of blacks vote for Obama, are they racist because they won’t vote for the white candidate?

Keep in mind that all this talk about “if Obama loses it’s because he’s black” has to do with Democrat voters. Most of us here at Free Republic will not vote for Obama for the same reasons we did not vote for Kerry, Gore, Clinton, etc. It’s that liberal record thing.

The truth is if Obama WAS NOT BLACK he would not be polling out of the teens. In fact if he had been wite he would not gotten close to beating Hillary Clinton.
