Obama Pads Empty Resume: Claims That Running Campaign is Executive Experience
DBKP ^ | September 7, 2008 | LBG

“But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed … when the roar of the crowd fades away … when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot - what exactly is our opponent’s plan?” –Sarah Palin at the 2008 Republican National Convention

When Barack Obama was asked about his executive experience on Anderson Cooper's 360, he claimed that running a Presidential campaign was more "executive" experience than Governor Sarah Palin's tenure as mayor of a town in Alaska.

Aside from the fact that Obama deliberately left out Palin's current executive experience as Governor of our largest state, Alaska, Obama's answer seemed to imply that voters were unable to distinguish the difference between a politician running a campaign, and a person already elected to an executive office with actual experience under their belt, such as Palin. It brings to mind Obama's fake presidential seal. A cheap imitation of the real deal, just like his "executive" experience is a cheap imitation of the real experience of Palin's.

We did a check and failed to find anyone who backed up Obama's claim, that running a campaign should be considered the same as being mayor or governor in regards to executive experience, even Joe Biden has remained silent.

From Anderson Cooper's 360:

Cooper:

Some Republican critics have said that you don't have the experience to handle a situation like this, they've in fact said that Governor Palin has more executive experience as mayor of a small town and as Governor of the big state of Alaska. What's your response?

He just can’t get the words “Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska” out of his mouth.

A bit tougher for him than the words ahhh and umm, while stuttering replies.

This AM on ABC he couldn't even figure out what religion he is affiliated with, Christianity or Muslim.

The man is teleprompter dependent.

Fine. Let's look at how his executive experience has been going. He has raised far more money than his opponents, but has had steadily diminishing returns. He lost consistently to Hillary in the last couple months of the primaries, barely able to win a plurality of delegates, relying on unelected super-delegates for a majority.

He has run a bloated bureaucratic campaign organization. Like the big government programs he favors he has gotten very little out of the money people have sent him. In fact despite outspending McCain, he has dropped steadily in the polls for months. He now has no more money left that McCain, despite having collected far more.

By all means, lets look at his “executive experience”. It's a good indicator of how a Obama administration would run the Fedzilla.

Would any of you have imagined that “running a campaign” qualified someone for Chief Executive of the largest economy and Commander of the most powerful Army in the world?

Anyone?

This is surreal.

“The man is teleprompter dependent. “

No he’s Soros dependent. He only knows what Soros wants him to say if the telepromter is working.

The guy is a great administrator. He has unsealed more divorce records than any politician in history.

Nope, what boggles the mind even further is that professional politicians and their lackeys are out there pushing this. If Obama doesn’t win their careers would be in severe jeopardy.

And then there are the people who buy this story.

Didn’t Biden recently refer to Palin as “Lieutenant Governor”?

I have maintained a checking account for 35 years. Can I be Secretary of Treasury?”

I have 6 horses: Can I be a jockey in the Kentucky Derby??

I own a car: Can I drive in the Indianapolis 500 or at Daytona?

I have a one ton truck and a 4 horse trailer. Can I drive a semi on long haul trips?

Nobama is clutching at straws to find something he can claim as “experience”.

Soon, there will be a big change in his life...he will be sent back to the Senate in disgrace, and I hope that Illinois votes him out of that job.

The fake Presidential seal bothers me much more.

This past week, Obama reminds me of the “Roger Rabbit” cartoon where he’s inflated by a vacuum cleaner and then zips around the room banging into things as he deflates.

Actually, Obama’s response is brilliant!!!

The next time someone is applying for a job, he should list “job hunting” at the top of the resume. “I’ve had two years experience as a job-hunter, and I believe that qualifies me for a management position in your company.”

“Obama needs a team of psychiatrists and lots of meds.

He is incredibly delusional and no I am not joking.”

He’s on a nation-wide personal journey of self discovery within the confines of the American white urban liberal realm of conceits, phobias, and identity formation, heavily accent the conceits.

He was more stable as a mildly corrupt Chicago Pol, working for the machine ripping off big charities, rich white people and poor black people all the while posing as “liberals” beyond reproach.

And don't forget the anointed one mispronouncing Wasilla as Wasilly. Either that's a purposeful dig at small town America or an indication that Obama is likely to embarrass himself and his country by mispronouncing the names of foreign leaders, cities, and countries.

Lord Obama also claims he can beat Palin at basketball. Yeah, sure...

LOL! I told my wife a couple of nights ago that Sarah Palin should challenge Obama to a game of one-on-one. I'd pay good money to see that game.

Who's Biden?

Isn't Palin running against Obama? /snicker

Seriously, I haven't heard much out of Biden and don't know if he said it or not.

I was sure jumped to attention this AM when hearing Obama on ABC calling himself a Muslim and being corrected affectionately by Stephenopolis by reminding him that he's a Christian.

Bambi’s campaign has been spending more money each month than it has been taking in. If that’s an example of his executive experience, we sure as hell don’t want him having access to our money.

I think the AK Governer manages a budget of $11 BILLION and manages a State workforce of 15,000 employees. (Got the info online.) I think the negotiation she handled for the new gas pipeline was a $40 BILLION deal. (All the male governors prior to her hadn’t been able to conclude this.)

Barak wishes he’d acomplished even 1% of this.
