I saw the interview, and in all fairness, what he said could be interpreted to be, “John McCain hasn’t talked about [what he believes is] my Muslim faith.”

Sorry, but that's you imposing your point of view on what the man actually said. Generosity is a fine quality, but not when it falls over the line to gullibility.

John McCain never raised it! But the libs have raised Sarah Palin's faith. Who brought up the Muslim issue? Obama himself, that's who!

Believe me, I’d love an indisputable thing (so no, my point of view is that he is a POS and possibly a black liberation theology nutcase — or even a Muslim who believes lying is just fine and dandy), but as much as I wish this was one, I don’t think it was. There’s no way to prove either one of us is correct.

I intensely dislike the guy and everything he stands for and would delight in an unambigous unconscious revelation like that!

The way it came out it could have been an honest misspeak. The counterargument I would make to that is that if a Christian did that, and was corrected, I would certainly expect him to be startled and embarrassed at the gaffe. Whereas Obama was matter-of-fact about accepting correction.

IOW, at a minimum it shows, IMHO, that Obama has never thought that being a Muslim was anything out of the way at all. Which is after all an understandable position for someone with Obama's upbringing.
