Don’t count on it. I think the McCain camp lets Barry make his own mistakes and hopes the American people see it for themselves. His new campaign advisors seem to be doing a much better job. McCain hasn’t thrown anyone under the bus since they took over.

Don’t think McCain standing up for Palin isn’t lost on the Hilary crowd. The DNC remained silent while Obama played the race card and subtly used sexism. The RNC all rallied to defend Palin.
as for this gaffe, on its own, its fairly trivial. But coupled with yesterday’s “I’m President” gaffe, and Biden’s high gaffe probablity, they will accumulate on an almost daily basis. When taken as a total, someone will put out a ‘best of’ tape, that will make Obama look unqualified and inexperienced - not ready to lead.
