I tend to agree with you but this poster makes a very good point I believe. take a look at post #197
Why not say “John McCain hasn't said I was a Muslim” instead of “John McCain hasn't talked about my Muslim faith”? I would never say that if someone was accusing me of being Muslim. I would say “so and so never called me a Muslim but his buddies did.”

It’s an interesting slip. Sure he wishes he said it better - but Snuffaluffagous was shocked too - witness that he interrupted to correct him.

No wonder he refuses a second debate. He is a walking gaffe machine - with an “err” before and after every noun clause. How long can the mediacrity cover this up?

Aside: help me get the word “mediacrity” into the vernacular!
