Every President does this. And Sarah Palin will be the most influential VP since Dick Cheney. And this is no time to be putting out bad vibes.
Yes, it’s reaching out to independent and Dem voters who McCain needs to win. But naah, let’s just give up and
try to reach only those on the Right. And Michelle will
be by her husband’s side as he takes the oath of office.
That’ll be better, eh? (Even though we probably are a
center-right country, we need to reach some on the center-left
too)
01/20/09 President McCain’s FIRST Day
Who, exactly is putting out bad vibes? Is it McCain - promising to put liberal idiots in his administration or someone who objects to it?
Hmm, that's not really saying much, is it? My dog would be the most influential VP since Cheney if she were McCain's running mate this year.
I think you really want to say that she will be a high profile, hands-on, hard-working VP in the same mold as Cheney. Though I am certain she will not wield the same kind of power behind the scenes as he, I suspect she will be every bit as helpful to President McCain as the elder George Bush was to Reagan.
There is simply no way this brilliant meteor of a lady is going to be a seat-warming ribbon cutter. Rather, there is a real risk that she could upstage McCain. I hope and expect that she will have the humility not to.
