I don't know what Dr. Paul is trying to do here. With the nomination of Sarah Palin for VP, that pretty much has united the GOP. Even Palin has given her support to Paul during the GOP primaries.

I think it's too little, too late for Paul. The time to unite the Libertarian and Constitution parties was last year. Now both parties have become completely irrelevant with McCain's brilliant pick of Palin.

I think IMHO, this was planned out months ago. What the heck do I know, I’m just a jackass with a modem.

Paul was expecting McCain to nominate the liberal global warming alarmist, smoker banning Pawlenty.

It would have opened things up for him to make inroads with the libertarian wing of the party.

If McCain had nominated Pawlenty, I would have been volunteering and donating to the Constitution Party and voting for Baldwin. You too from the sound of it.

Not with Sarah on the ticket. McCain is a survivor. He’s been dead and buried 4 times and he always pulls a Houdini act. Sarah was his for us.

He's not running. He has already said there's no chance of third party candidacy.
