I doubt that there's any truth to this at all--but, I must say, the National Enquirer is a more credible source of information than CNNNBCABCCBSNYTimesLATimesWashingtonPostTime and the rest of the Democrat Propaganda Machine.

I got so mad when I saw that fish wrap “US” in Walgreens today. There were too many of them or I would have turned them around so the covers were not visible. I’ve done that in the past with books by Michael Moore, the vile former Sen and Gov Lowell Weicker, and others.
You’d think with the overwhelmingly negative reaction US got that they would yank these things off the shelves. Just irked me to see those words “lies and scandal” just thrown out there gratuitously.

You have a point. The Enquirer was the only one that managed to ferret out the details about Edwards affair.
That being said, they may not check out their sources as well when a Republican is involved - and I suspect they will print a hasty retraction soon enough.
